Deskripsi Mata Kuliah
Principles of Education is an introductory course that helps students understand the fundamental principles, theories, and practices of education. The course emphasizes learner-centered approaches, active learning, and inclusivity, demonstrating how these concepts are applied in both national and international classrooms. Students will explore teaching methods such as problem-based learning (PBL), case studies, and project-based learning (PjBL). Through these approaches, they will learn how to foster collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving in diverse learning environments. To connect theory with practice, students will engage in discussions, reflective essays, and presentations. The course also emphasizes cultural diversity, sustainability, and lifelong learning as essential elements in modern education. As future English educators, students will be guided to align educational principles with effective teaching practices in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) settings.
