Course Description
Understanding various welding processes, heat flow in welding, phase transformations and weld micrometal structure, HAZ, characteristics of the HAZ area, continuous cooling transformation (CCT) diagram, Carbon Equivalent (Cr-Equivalent), Scaffler diagram, residual stress and welding distortion, weld location and prevention.
