Course Description
This Basic Geographic Information System is often also referred to as Basic GIS. This course will lead fellow students to jointly learn about the basic concepts used in geographic information systems. Apart from that, you will also be invited to practice and practice making a base map, database system, and webgis.
Program Objectives (PO)
- Mampu menjelaskan konsep dasar dan komponen-komponen utama dalam Sistem Informasi Geografis
- Mampu mengidentifikasi dan mengelola data spasial serta non-spasial yang digunakan dalam SIG
- Mampu menerapkan perangkat lunak SIG untuk pemetaan, analisis spasial, dan visualisasi data
- Mampu menganalisis dan memecahkan masalah geografis dengan menggunakan metode dan teknik SIG
- Mampu menyusun dan menyajikan hasil analisis SIG dalam bentuk peta tematik yang dapat dipahami
