Course Description
This course is a project-based course that studies the basic concepts of discrete-time signals and systems, complex numbers and complex variable functions, Z transformations, convolution and impulse response, transfer functions and block diagrams, Discrete-Time Fourier Transform (DTFT), digital frequency and frequency response, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion, multirate systems, designing FIR and IIR filters, Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT), and Spectral Analysis. Students will create a group project around digital signal processing.
