Postmodern Theory is one of the mandatory courses for Sociology students after they have taken Classical, Modern and Critical Sociological Theory. This course discusses history, postmodern concepts, the position of postmodern theory in the Sociological paradigm, the condition of postmodern society, and the thoughts of key postmodern figures with the spirit of postreality and poststructurality such as Nietzche, Heidegger, Foucault, Baudrillard, Barthes, and Bourdieu. Lectures are carried out using a system of case analysis, presentations and discussions.
