Course Description
The transportation economics course studies the principles of analysis and application of engineering economic concepts in transportation infrastructure investment with the aim of participants being able to understand cost and benefit parameters, such as investment costs, operation and maintenance, time value, vehicle operating costs, and other economic quantities. paying attention to accounting aspects that need to be carried out in transportation infrastructure studies, as well as applying several investment feasibility study methods. Learning is carried out by direct learning in the form of lectures followed by exercises so that students are skilled in calculations.
Program Objectives (PO)
- Mampu melaksanakan pekerjaan maupun kewirausahaan di bidang teknologi rekayasa transportasi darat secara profesional. Mampu menerapkan pemikiran logis, kritis, inovatif, bermutu dan terukur dalam mengidentifikasi, melaksanakan maupun mengevaluasi secara mandiri dan mengkoordinasikan kelompok untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan teknis dan non teknis serta mampu berkomunikasi secara lisan dan tulisan. Mampu menerapkan prinsip mekanika, matematika dan konsep rekayasa pada proses perancangan teknis, gambar hasil pengukuran, dan perancangan di bidang teknologi rekayasa transportasi darat Mampu melaksanakan pekerjaan perancangan, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dokumentasi pekerjaan di bidang teknologi rekayasa transportasi darat sesuai standard yang berlaku dengan mengedepankan prinsip sistem keamanan dan keselamatan kerja dan lingkungan (SMK3L).
