Course Description
This course discusses the concept and scope of operations management, both related to equipment and people, with various optimization methods ranging from establishing and researching production locations, production forecasting, planning raw material requirements and inventory, layout, work design, quality control, and maintenance. The learning application is through the analysis of case examples in class. Lectures are conducted using a system of case study analysis, lectures, discussions, assignments, and reflection.
