Course Description
The Digital-Based Precision Agriculture course (3 credits) is a course of expertise that examines the application of information technology, communication, and smart devices in agricultural cultivation management to improve input efficiency, productivity, and sustainability of farming businesses. This course aims to equip students with the ability to analyze spatial data, utilize the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, and decision support systems to optimize agricultural operations at the field level. The scope of the material includes basic concepts of precision agriculture, sensor system integration, satellite and drone image analysis, digital data management, and economic evaluation of technology use in agribusiness. The learning methods applied include interactive lectures, project-based case studies (Project-Based Learning), and digital simulation practices to solve real-world problems in the field. The relevance of this course is crucial for the Digital Agribusiness Undergraduate Study Program to produce graduates who are able to transform conventional agricultural practices into modern agribusiness systems that are data-driven, accurate, and competitive in the digital era.

- Mahasiswa mampu mengoperasikan berbagai teknologi pertanian presisi (IoT, drone, dan otomasi) dalam rantai nilai agribisnis digital.
- Mahasiswa mampu merancang strategi pemberdayaan petani melalui adopsi teknologi pertanian presisi guna meningkatkan produktivitas dan keberlanjutan agribisnis.
- Mampu menganalisis prinsip dasar, komponen teknologi, dan penerapan pertanian presisi dalam mendukung efisiensi operasional agribisnis digital.
