Sprechen I Course

The Sprechen I course is taught to provide students with basic level (A1) oral communication skills in German, both in the form of dialogue and monologue. Learning material includes themes that are closely related to students‘ daily lives, namely: 1) introduction 2) hobbies, 3) residential orientation, 4) food and drink, 5) daily activities, 6) free time activities , 7) making appointments, 8) housing, 9) work, 10) clothes, 11) health, and 12) vacations. Most of the lecture activities are carried out using interactive methods involving student activity including role playing, quizzes, games, lectures, questions and answers, discussions, listening, practice in the form of individual and group assignments. Assessment is taken from attendance and activeness during the learning process, individual and group assignments, UTS, and UAS.
