This course contains the study and practice of implementing various guidance and counseling services in serving addiction problems. The addiction guidance and counseling course contains a study of the definition of addiction, its prevalence, historical perspectives, biological-psychological-social aspects of addiction, addiction models, application of counseling theories in addiction interventions, core intervention processes for addiction. Examine aspects of race, ethnicity, culture and public policy in relation to addiction, and the process of organizing and handling addiction. The course is conducted using case study, collaborative learning and project based learning methods. Success assessment is based on participatory activities, product assessment, portfolio assessment, practicum and practice, tests.
