Course Description
This course aims to equip students to be able to understand, demonstrate, and analyze nutritional status assessments in anthropometric, biochemical, physical/clinical, dietary, and ecological aspects in various life cycles by applying good, disciplined, and professional ethics. The learning model is carried out by applying a contextual approach and a case-based method. Student learning experiences will include lectures, group discussions, and practice/performance both in the laboratory and off campus.
Program Objectives (PO)
- Menguasai teori dasar ilmu gizi, pangan, biomedik, patofisiologi, kesehatan masyarakat, dan pengetahuan tentang pelayanan dan kewenangan ahli gizi dalam penilaian status gizi.
- Mampu mengambil keputusan yang tepat dalam pengelolaan pelayanan gizi dengan menggunakan metode antropometri dan konsumsi makanan yang sudah baku serta mampu menginterpretasikan hasil pemeriksaan biokimia dan klinis.
- Mampu mengembangkan penilaian status gizi dalam pelayanan gizi promotif, preventif, kuratif, dan rehabilitatif serta mampu beradaptasi pada kondisi sumber daya terbatas.
