Course Theory and Practice of Early Childhood

Course Description

This course provides an understanding of the nature of AUD, aims, functions and principles of PAUD, approaches to PAUD, character thinking, AUD development theory, play theory, multiple intelligences, PAUD curriculum, PAUD learning models, Steam and Loose Parts, PAUD implementation models. , as well as best practices for implementing PAUD in Indonesia. Lectures are carried out by presenting theory in class and also by observing quality early childhood education institutions, to see directly the management of education and the implementation of theory from this course. Indicators of success in this course are if students can properly understand the material presented in class, are able to explain theory and apply it to the assignments given, and students are able to answer questions correctly regarding material regarding the theory and practice of early childhood education.

Program Objectives (PO)

Memahami teori dan praktik Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) secara utuh dan kontekstual dan kontekstual, sehingga mampu berperan sebagai pengelola PAUD yang inovatif, kreatif, dan berkualitas.

Mampu mengelola program Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini yang berlandaskan ketaqwaan, kemandirian, dan kewirausahaan sosial
Mampu mengambil keputusan secara tepat dalam konteks penyelesaian masalah melalui pengembangan keilmuan Pendidikan Nonformal berdasarkan hasil analisis informasi dan data analisis informasi dan data.
