Course Description
This course provides students with competencies and skills in Mathematics education research methodology and drafting research proposals. Coverage of material regarding the philosophy of various research approaches, quantitative and qualitative research methods, experimental and non-experimental research with research fields at school level mathematics education and mathematics teacher education levels. Lectures are carried out by involving student activity through assignment presentations and in-depth discussions of the main points of the material, as well as discussions and reflections on formulating research ideas based on reputable international journals, including quantitative and qualitative analysis, and making research proposals which can be addressed as final assignments. .

- Mengevaluasi paradigma penelitian dan konsep dasar penelitian Pendidikan matematika.
- Membandingkan paradigma penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dan non eksperimen Pendidikan matematika.
- Menganalisiskan berbagai metode penelitian kualitatif Pendidikan matematika.
- Mengevaluasi metode penelitian tindakan sekolah, penelitian tindakan kelas, dan penelitian pengembangan pendidikan matematika.
- Membandingkan berbagai metode penelitian gabungan (mixed methods).
- Menyusun rancangan penelitian, mengimplementasikan hasil penelitian, dan mengevaluasi hasil-hasil penelitian yang kontemporer secara kritis serta mengembangkan dalam suatu rencana penelitian.
- Menyusun proposal penelitian Pendidikan matematika dan mempresentasikannya secara mandiri dan bertanggung jawab.
- Berkolaborasi dan bertanggung jawab secara profesional dan etis dalam menyelesaikan tugas suatu kasus penelitian dan penyusunan proposal penelitian
