One of the important parts of being an intellectual is developing knowledge through research. This course targets the development of students‘ research skills with the following specific aims: (1) providing research experience through analysis of existing or ongoing mathematics education research data and interpretation of the results before programming a dissertation; (2) involving students in conducting initial dissertation research; (3) improving students‘ research skills; and (4) develop skills in writing for publication.
