Course Description
This course discusses the concept of diversity, morphological characteristics, classification and ecology of molluscs, which include the Aplacophora, Monoplacophora, Polyplacophora, Scapopoda, Gastropod, Bivalvia and Cephalopoda classes. Apart from that, this course also reviews the benefits of molluscs for life and research methods on molluscs. The material is delivered using a student centered approach in practical activities and assignments given in the form of project based learning which students carry out honestly and independently.
Program Objectives (PO)
- Menguasai konsep Malakologi
- Mampu menganalisis taksonomi numerik dan filogenetik moluska menggunakan software komputer.
- Mampu merancang dan melaksanakan penelitian di bidang Malakologi serta mampu mengolah, menganalisis, menginterpretasikan, dan mendokumentasikan data penelitian.
- Mampu menerapkan transferable skills untuk mengembangkan eco-commitment dalam upaya mewujudkan karakter “Iman, Cerdas, Mandiri, Jujur, Peduli, dan Tangguh (Idaman Jelita)”
- Mampu mengkomunikasikan hasil penelitian Malakologi dalam bentuk artikel ilmiah.
- Mampu bekerja secara mandiri, bertanggung jawab, baik secara individu maupun kelompok, serta mampu bekerja secara kooperatif.

Pertemuan 6 Ciri khusus, ciri umum, dan peran Chepalopoda dan Scapopoda -
Pertemuan 7 Ciri khusus, ciri umum, dan peran Gastropoda dan Bivalvia -
Pertemuan 8 UTS -
Pertemuan 9 Merancang suatu penelitian di bidang malakologi yang relevan dalam realitas kehidupan dalam pengelolaan sumber daya hayati. -
Pertemuan 10 Merancang suatu penelitian di bidang malakologi yang relevan dalam realitas kehidupan dalam pengelolaan sumber daya hayati. -
Pertemuan 11 Melaksanakan penelitian di bidang malakologi baik penelitian lapangan maupun non lapangan/penelitian morfologi maupun DNA sesuai dengan prosedur. -
Pertemuan 12 Melaksanakan penelitian di bidang ornitologi baik penelitian lapangan maupun non lapangan/penelitian morfologi maupun DNA sesuai dengan prosedur. -
Pertemuan 13 Mengolah, menganalisis dan menginterpretasikan/mensisntesis sehingga menghasilkan pengetahuan/informasi baru /solusi. -
Pertemuan 14 Mengolah, menganalisis dan menginterpretasikan/mensisntesis sehingga menghasilkan pengetahuan/informasi baru /solusi. -
Pertemuan 15 Mempresentasikan hasil penelitian dalam bentuk penulisan artikel ilmiah. -
