Course Description

This course examines the basic principles of designing the synthesis of organic compounds using a disconnection approach, synthesis strategies through disconnection: aromatic compounds, carbon-heteroatom bonds, carbon-carbon bonds, bifunctional compounds and cyclic compounds, protecting groups, chemoselective and stereoselective reactions, applications of synthetic reactions in the synthesis of bioactive compounds.
