The Philosophy of Mathematics course aims to study on an analysis-synthesis basis the basic nature of philosophy, mathematics, philosophy of mathematics based on several schools of philosophy, the connection of philosophy and mathematics from the aspects of ontology, epistemology, axiology, as well as the role of philosophy in the development of mathematics. Understanding the essence of philosophy will involve the essence of thinking, reasoning and philosophizing in an ethical atmosphere of truth in belief. The discussion also discusses the development of philosophy from the Platonic era to modern mathematical philosophy and contemporary mathematical philosophy. Learning is carried out by applying a combination of problem-based learning, discussion and conventional direct learning approaches. Learning activities are also intended to improve skills through group presentations on topics determined by linking the development of eco-techno-entrepreneurship-maths. The assessment is determined with proportional weights and is carried out during the learning process with active interactive participation, presentations, assignments and mid-semester exams, as well as final semester exams.
