This course is a compulsory subject that discusses in depth the school mathematics learning approach with a social constructivism perspective, and prioritizes student learning to reinvent themselves (‘reinvention‘) of concepts and alternative problem solving through presenting contextual and interrelated mathematical problems. The way of presenting the topic, and evaluating student learning outcomes discussed in this approach is adjusted to the students‘ prior knowledge, the students‘ cognitive development stage, and the student‘s environment so that meaningful knowledge (products and processes) of students‘ mathematics is formed.
