In this course, the basic concepts of philosophy of science, position, focus, scope, objectives and functions will be studied as well as their relationship to MKK and MKBS. Next, the characteristics of philosophy, science and education are also discussed, as well as the functional relationship between science, philosophy and religion. Study of schools of educational philosophy and their implications in the world of education. Next, we discuss understanding systematics, problems, diversity of approaches and paradigms (mindsets) in the study and development of science and ontological, epistemological and axiological dimensions. Next, the meaning, implications and implementation of science as a research activity, scientific methods and systematic knowledge, the role of paradigms in the scientific revolution are studied. Study of education, the meaning, need and role of educational philosophy, schools of educational philosophy, psychological orientations that influence educational philosophy, and the implications of Pancasila philosophy for national education are studied.
