Decentralization of Education Course

This course provides students with knowledge and understanding of the concept of decentralization and the impact of decentralization in the field of education in Indonesia. The aim is for students to learn together and understand the concepts and approaches to education in the era of decentralization, reforms in the education sector and various education policies in Indonesia. In this course students will gain an understanding and learning experience about the basic concepts of decentralization and implementation of decentralization in the field of education, division of authority in education management, independence in school funding. In the next stage, students are introduced to the concept of school-based management as an approach that is relevant to decentralization and autonomy in the field of education, including case studies. In the final stage, students are invited to learn and discuss local content in the school curriculum, including aspects of school stakeholder participation.
