This course is a study of the concept of investment through understanding stock risk and return calculation models, Markowitz model, Single Index Model (SIM), Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT), fundamental and technical analysis, valuation strategies investment, and investment performance appraisal. The learning methods used are lectures, brainstorming, and simulating the calculation of risk and stock returns.
