Ethics and Aesthetics Course

This course is an eclectic course, a combination of ethics and aesthetics. After completing this course, students are expected to be able to practice noble moral values ​​in their daily lives. It is hoped that this ethics and aesthetics lecture can foster students‘ noble morals. For this reason, the material includes: conscience as a moral phenomenon, freedom and responsibility, values ​​and norms, rights and obligations, being a human being with noble character, real aesthetics, Indonesian literary aesthetics, spiritual aesthetics, mystical aesthetics, aesthetics as a philosophy of beauty. The details include the meaning, sources, and goals of ethics; the relationship between ethics and manners; man‘s obligations to himself, to his family, society, and to his creator; praiseworthy and despicable qualities; humans move towards perfection; a holy and sinless human character; freedom and control; human spiritual needs; as well as criteria for the moral value of actions.
