The Interkulturelle Kommunikation course is a course that focuses on understanding and applying the concept of intercultural communication in various cultural contexts. The Interkulturelle Kommunikation course aims to equip students with an understanding of intercultural communication, especially with regard to Germany. This course is designed for students of language level B1 or equivalent who are interested in understanding and improving their ability to communicate effectively with people from German culture. Students will study the concepts, benefits and goals of intercultural communication and explore various aspects of popular culture, traditions and celebrations in Germany. The material will also cover communication ethics and the importance of tolerance in German society, as well as the environment and sustainable practices in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in Germany. In this course, project-based learning and learning activities are implemented, such as questions and answers, discussions, presentations. Evaluation in this course includes: participatory assessment, assignment assessment and project assessment.
