Population Geography Course

Conduct studies and provide an understanding of the concept and scope of population geography, benefits, population theories, population structure and processes in a region as well as sources of data on population composition and growth, mortality and death tables, fertility, migration, population problems and problem solving, and population policy. Learning is carried out for one semester using a problem based learning approach with demonstration, discussion, practicum and individual and group assignment methods. Assessment is carried out through written, performance and portfolio tests.
