This course emphasizes theoretical exploration in implementing art theories in various fine arts studies based on field observations or secondary data. Starting by reviewing various fine arts articles published in nationally accredited fine arts scientific journals or international journals as a strategy for understanding various approaches, methods and thoughts on art, as well as models of fine arts studies: Social-historical, semiotic, philosophical, historical, aesthetics, cultural transformation, lifestyle, social change, medium and technique. Learning strategies are emphasized on reviewing articles in scientific journals with group discussions and presentations in class.
