An understanding of anthropology, division of anthropological scientific branches, explaining the position of art anthropology and discussing the main problem in art anthropology regarding the universality of art as a cultural phenomenon. Explains the theories used in anthropological research and provides an explanation of the application of theories in fine arts research. Topics of discussion include theories in anthropology, aesthetic anthropology, tradition and innovation, primitive art and artifacts, cross-cultural aesthetics, visual ethnography. This course is a mandatory course for the art study route, with discussion strategies and literature searches.
