This course discusses economic dynamics in urban and rural areas. Comparing the economic structure, development and challenges faced in cities and villages. This course aims to understand how economic, social and policy factors play a role in sustainable development in these two regions. Topics in this course include basic concepts of urban economics, theories of urban location and growth, relationships between regions, employment, issues related to transportation and social in urban areas, basic concepts of rural economics, evolution of rural economies, institutions and problems in rural areas, and village government.
