Sensitive to facts that have the potential to cause problems, identifying and formulating problems, formulating research objectives, generating benefits, extracting expected outcomes or final results, selecting or referring to theories that are relevant to the research topic, formulating hypotheses, stating the scope of research, sampling techniques, identifying variables, mastery of instruments, data collection techniques, data processing techniques, data interpretation, and concluding research results.

Mahasiswa mampu memunculkan topik penelitian yang layak, merumuskan masalah, tujuan, manfaat, mampu menuangkan dalam bentuk tulisan ilmiah, secara sistematis, bisa memilih variabel yang representatif, mampu menyiapkan instrumen yang tepat, memilih teknik analisis, yang dirangkai menjadi proposal penelitian.
