Natural Resources Development Course

This course examines the general understanding of water resources and the legal basis for water resources development. Conditions and problems of water resources in Indonesia. Principles of water resources development, utilization, control and conservation. Utilization of water resources for electricity generation, domestic and industrial water supply, navigation, tourism and irrigation. Control of flood water and waste resources. Principles of watershed management, understanding environmental carrying capacity (DDL), erosion and its management. Study of land problems that arise in water resources management in Indonesia, presented in theoretical form.
