Course Description
The Village-City Geography course examines village potential through analysis of various village-forming components with the help of village land use maps of village spatial patterns through analysis of satellite imagery/landscape maps that are relevant to potential village spatial patterns and development of rural areas, identifying problems that exist in villages&mdashkota, urban spatial patterns through analysis of satellite imagery/topographical maps that are relevant to urban spatial patterns examines the rejuvenation of urban areas to solve city problems through a contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach. Assessment is done by written tests, performance and reports.
Program Objectives (PO)
- Mampu menerapkan pemikiran logis, kritis, sistematis, inovatif dalam bidang geografi perdesaan dan perkotaan serta menganalisis karakteristik wilayah perdesaan dan perkotaan dalam konteks sumberdaya berdasarkan prinsip dan pendekatan Geografi guna mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan
- Mampu menerapkan teori kewilayahan untuk perencanaan dan pembangunan wilayah perdesaan dan perkotaan berbasis spasial secara berkelanjutan
- Mampu mengolah, menganalisis dan menyajikan data tentang potensi, informasi pedesaan dan perkotaan dalam kajian Geografi terpadu dengan pendalaman pada kajian kekotaan yang mendukung keberlanjutan wilayah
