Course Description
This course discusses the study of the authority and limitations of psychological experts according to the classification of psychologists based on educational and professional strata. The boundaries and authority explained are related to guidelines for attitude and behavior, as well as the firm grip of all psychologists and groups of psychological scientists, in carrying out their professional activities in accordance with their respective competencies and authorities. Limitations include responsibility and scientific boundaries, competence, human relations, provision of psychological services/practice, advertising and public statements, informed consent, confidentiality of psychological records and examinations, assessment and psychotherapy, education and training, as well as costs of psychological services. Lectures are carried out using a direct learning system, presentations and group discussions, critical analysis assignments, and reflection.
