Course Description
This course is designed for students to have an understanding of the basic concepts of social workers, the profession of social workers, characteristics of social workers, methods and techniques in social work, as well as the ability to relate social problems to social worker efforts from a PNFI perspective, linking social worker methods (individuals, groups, communities) to be able to play a role as PNF and Community Empowerment Program Manager. Lectures include lectures, discussions, field visits, practice and assignments. Indicators of success in this course are students being able to understand the basic concepts of social work, the profession of social work, characteristics of social workers, methods and techniques in social work.
