Vertebrate Taxonomy Course

This course discusses the concept of morphological characteristics, classification, identification and description, nomenclature and diversity of animals including the Phylum Chordata, especially vertebrates including Pisces, Amphibia, Reptilia, Aves and Mammalia. Apart from that, this course also reviews the benefits of these animals for human life, and research methods. The material is delivered using a student-centered approach in practical activities and assignments are given in the form of research projects.
