The description of this course starts from the general understanding of education as a basis for discussion of the foundations of education. The educational foundations themselves include; legal, philosophical, historical, socio-cultural, psychological and economic foundations. The discussion ends with an explanation of the education staff profession and its code of ethics, followed by material from books 3, 4 and 5.
