Basic concepts of educational management: understanding of administration, organization and management of education, nature, role, function and scope of educational management, management as a system 2. Philosophy and theory of educational management: philosophy of management, various approaches in educational management: classical, neo-classical and modern, development of management theory 3. Management standards in the national education system 4. Management as a process of implementing management functions: planning, organizing, staffing, actuiting/leadership, and controlling 5. Areas of interest in management education: curriculum or educational programs, student affairs, human resources, educational facilities and infrastructure, finance and financing, educational information system management. 6. Leadership in organizations, Educational Supervision 7. Management techniques and tools: their use in dealing with change, making decisions and to improve performance
