Course Description

This course is a theoretical study and skills training within the scope of haute couture production, including analyzing designs, measuring customers‘ bodies, making fashion patterns according to designs, applying sewing techniques and decorating clothes; checkered work clothes, kebaya and long cloth finished with the right technique. The course implementation uses an individual approach which focuses on training in the laboratory to hone students‘ psychomotor skills in making checkered work clothes, kebaya and ready-made cloth supported by project-based learning activities. ·This course provides understanding and skills with the material: making patterns for checkered work clothes as well as finished kebaya and long cloth.
