This course provides an understanding of the basic concepts and development of the art of traditional bridal make-up on the island of Java, especially in traditional bridal make-up in Central Java, Jogyakarta, and all regions in East Java. An explanation of the various types of bridal make-up on the island of Java which are divided into berpaes and non-paes categories, where in each region a study will be carried out on the development of traditional make-up in the form of modified make-up in the hair styling, facial make-up, clothing and accessories used. , which is adapted to the latest trends. Practicing and testing traditional bridal make-up using the latest bridal make-up techniques. In the process, documentation will be carried out for the portfolio which will be evaluated and assessed by students and lecturers. The learning process is carried out by applying a constructivist approach, namely direct, cooperative learning methods, and project methods where students in groups are asked to carry out traditional bridal make-up projects, where problem solving will occur based on model conditions, limited tools and materials, and limited time. All learning outcomes and student work will be made in the form of a portfolio and report which will be presented by the student.
