Sewing Techniques Course

This course is the basis of sewing techniques and finishing in clothing making. The initial discussion includes: introduction to sewing tools, introduction to types of fabric, introduction to types of clothing and their grouping. In-depth discussion of basic stitch sewing techniques, seams, hems, slits, sleeves, necklines and their application to clothing. The strategies applied in this course are through group discussions and presentations, making assignments in fragment form and making skirts and blouses
