This course is a basic course on sewing techniques applied to clothing. The initial discussion includes: knowledge of basic concepts about the various basic, supporting and additional sewing tools and their classification. Next, apply various sewing techniques for clothing parts in the form of fragments/prototypes, such as: making seams, hems, installing pockets, installing various zippers, finishing necklines, installing various types of buttons and buttonholes. Followed by an introduction to the types of materials/fabrics, grouping them according to the technique of laying patterns on various types of materials. . The strategy applied in this course is through Project Based Learning (PjBL).
