Course Description

This course is a technique for decorating clothing using hand embroidery applied to fabric and clothing. In the initial discussion, we study the basic concepts of embroidery, decorative stitches and the classification of decorating techniques based on the type of material and manufacturing technique. In-depth discussion includes understanding, characteristics, tools and materials as well as manufacturing steps. The strategies applied in the learning process are discussions, demonstrations and making assignments in the form of fragments and actual objects (clothing and household linen).
