Real Work Lectures are a form of community service carried out by Surabaya State University students as a form of social reaction to help the government and society after the Covid-19 pandemic. Thematic Real Work Lectures (KKNT) Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) are a form of real work lectures (KKN) which are designed to provide learning experiences for students to live in the community outside the campus by directly working together with the community to identify potential and handle problems so that it is hoped that they will be able to develop the potential of the village/region and formulate solutions to existing problems in the village. KKNT activities hone soft skills, partnerships, cross-disciplinary/scientific teamwork (cross-competency), and student leadership in managing development programs in rural areas. Activities are carried out by following standard health protocols. Thematic KKN emphasizes community empowerment through a participatory and learning approach to increase community awareness and understanding of the potential and challenges they have to improve the quality of their lives, both individually and in groups with thematic KKN themes, namely Teaching Assistance, Village Projects, Entrepreneurship, Humanity, and Projects Independent
