The Philosophy of Science course (3 credits) discusses various philosophical views about the nature of science, the relationship between science and ethics, and its implications for educational practice and scientific development. Through this course, students are expected to master the basic concepts of philosophy of science, such as rationalism, empiricism, and postpositivism; and be able to analyze ethical issues in research and scientific development. An indicator of the success of this course is if students are able to understand the philosophical nature of science.
