The course discusses anatomy and physiology of plant parts including root, stem, and leaf by combining biology and chemistry concepts. In particular, this course is designed to help students to understand biological processes in plants, such as plant transportation, photosynthesis, and respiration from biology and chemistry perspectives. Learning models used in this course include direct instruction, research-based learning, presentation, and discussion, and inquiry learning.
