This course discusses the concepts of morphological characteristics, classification, identification and description, nomenclature and diversity of animals which include Chordata, Chondricytyes, Osteicytyes, Amphibians, Reptiles, Aves and Mammals. Apart from that, this course also reviews the benefits of these animals for human life, kinship relationships between taxa and research methods both in morphology and DNA which are studied using computer programs (IT). The material is delivered using a student-centered approach in practical activities and assignments are given in the form of research projects carried out by students honestly and independently. The research results were followed up by participating in national level Student Creativity Program (PKM) activities.
