"Translation: Theory and Practice" is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of translation studies, incorporating both theoretical foundations and practical applications. The course covers key concepts in translation theory, methodologies, and tools, while providing hands-on practice in translating various types of texts, including literary, legal, and technical documents. Students will explore different translation strategies, cultural contexts, ethical considerations, and the role of technology in translation. By the end of the course, students will have developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for becoming proficient translators. |
